In 1847 John joined his brother Benjamin into the partnership and the name of the firm was changed to Cadbury Brothers. The business was getting popular then both the brothers moved the business to new factories in Bridge Street , but in 1855 after the death of John`s wife and his illness the combined business of both brothers John and Benjamin come to an end with mutual consent and then John transferred all the right to his sons Richard and George. 1861 1900 John Cadbury retired from his business and his sons Richard and George took over the company. As Richard had already joined his father business in 1850 but in 1861 with the partnership of his brother George who was only 25 at that time. Richard started to look after sales and marketing side which was not in good shape. He once said that if business ever made a profit of thousand he will take retirement. Richard was also a talented artist and in 1868 he founded the way of increasing the appeal of chocolate boxes by decorating its lid with pictures some of them are of his own creation, soon after some time he died unexpectedly from diphtheria in 1899. George son of John Cadbury joined Cadbury Brothers in 1856 and became partner in the business with his brother Richard in 1861. He setup the Mens Pension Fund in 1906 and a separate fund for women in 1911 and is also responsible for Cadbury pulling out of the purchase of cocoa from Sao Thome and Principe after evidence of slavery, and for the development of the Ghana cocoa trade. The first proper Cadbury logo of a cocoa tree was commissioned by him in 1905 from the French designer Georges Auriol and also the famous Cadbury signature logo is based on his signature. He became the Chairman of Cadbury Brothers Ltd in 1922 after the death of his uncle and held this position until his retirement in 1937. Elizabeth, Georges second wife is best known for her welfare work. The list of her good will work is endless like she and George in 1909 opened the Woodlands Hospital in North field. She died in 1951. Edward Cadbury son of George and Mary, joined Cadbury Bros in 1893. She retired in 1952. Sir Adrian, eldest son of Laurence Cadbury was appointed as Director in 1958. In 1965 he became Chairman of the British Cocoa Chocolate Company. 1969 saw him taking up the position of Deputy Chairman and Managing Director of Cadbury Schweppes, and he became Chairman of Cadbury Schweppes in 1974. He retired in 1989. Son of Laurence Cadbury and brother of Sir Adrian Cadbury, Sir Dominic was appointed director in the late 1960s. He joined the Cadbury Schweppes board in 1974. ‘Twas the night before spring break, when all through the city Lots of young people were stirring, awake in their house; The short pants and short sleeves were hung in the closet with care, In hopes that warm weather soon would be there; The children were restless being stuck in there beds, While visions of pre-summer fun danced in there heads; And dark in the window and I on the couch, Had just woken up from a quick evening nap, When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter, I sprang from my resting place to see to see what was the matter. Away to the window I flew like a flash, Turned on the light and threw up the sash. The moon on the rest of the fresh spring grass Gave the luster of morning to objects below, When what to my sleepy eyes should appear, But a kid on a razor scooter, offending my ears. With a little young rider so lively and quick, I knew in a moment it must be a neigbor. More anoying than anything was the grinding that came, As he rumbled and grumbled down the pavement he came; As dry leaves before the wild hurricane fly, When he meets a small rock scooter and rider will fly, So down to the street corner he flew, With a frown on his face and a broken scooter too. And then, in a twinkling, i heard on the street The jumping and screaming and each muffled oof. As i drew in my hand and was turning around, Up from the pavement he came with a bound. He was dressed all in new clothing from his head to his foot, And his clothes were all tarnished with dirt from a nearby tree root; A beat up scoter he had flung on his back, And he looked like he was homeless and high on crack. His eyes didn’t twinkle, his dimples not merry! His cheeks were filled with embarrassment and his face red as a cherry! His droll little mouth pulled down in a frown, And the amusement of his actions compared with a clown; The stump of a handlebar he held tight in his hand, And the thought of his misfortune circled his head, He had a broad face and a round little belly, That shook when he walked like a bowlful of jelly. Baseball – Hobbie

Relationships are something you can gain In many different ways, but for me It was baseball. From the mime I first started playing I began to make many friends which still to this day have been there for me In some of my hardest trials. The best thing about playing a sport Is having a different coach every summer. I've played baseball now for sixteen years of my young life, and in doing so I have met a lot of different people. My favorite coach of all time has to be Dale Anderson.Dale was able to show me so much in junior high, and some of which I still use today. My hobby of baseball has given me more than enough relationships in life. It has been hard for me over the years to build my character, but after all the practice I have gone through I'm sure I have come out a different person. Me being a pitcher takes a huge amount of character. I'm basically in control of the game at all times, and with character comes the composure.Composure and tempo are the two hardest things on the mo und you have to think about. You have to keep the right tempo when you have base runners on, so they will not steal off of you. Working out, getting faster and stronger are three of my favorite things about sports. It is plain and simple; if you're not physically fit you will not play to your fullest potential. Baseball has given me the opportunity to get faster and stronger than I ever thought I could be. Working out is not the only way a person gets fit.Practice is another way also, because when you practice baseball you are going at game speed. Anyone who plays sports can say, when they play/practice at game speed you will burn calories. Being fit is one of the best ways to excel In a sport. I'm glad to say that I have done the work, and It Is really starting to pay off for me. Baseball has given me so much over the years, from relationships, character, and to being physically fit. This hobby has given me the opportunity to reach for what I need In life.I thank God that he has ma de It possible for me to become a pitcher In college, and let me chase the dreams I have always wanted to come true.
